Air bags are arrangements in cars in order to protect drivers during accidents..it contains a chemical called sodium azide ....due to accident a small explosion occur inside air bags and sodium azide is very sensitive..it splits sodium azide and produces nitrogen..which fills in to bag
 100 gm sodium produces 56 liters of nitrogen !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    this is the reaction happen with sodium azide at 300 C called as decomposition or explosion
